The Community Suit - the Social and
interpersonal Suit
In
all of our lives there have been individuals, living or deceased, who have
affected us profoundly. Such beings may be intimate associates or public
figures, personally unknown, whose words or deeds have had a major impact on
us. The Community might include such figures as parents, siblings and other
relatives, friends, mentors, exemplars who have made us aware of our own
possibilities and provided inspiration and artists whose work speaks to us
across distance and, perhaps, centuries.. In making cards to represent them
and their associated characteristics, we formally acknowledge their
importance and declare our willingness to receive the gifts they offer.
